Hello! I would love to see some icons for these apps (sadly not all of them are FOSS, e.g. like the banking app).

F-Droid

Money Wallet KeePass DX Aegis

Google Play Store

Deezer Cryptomator Nebenan.de DKB-Banking Stadtmobil Carsharing Die TK-app

Hi can you use Turtl to collect the icons & appfilter xml list?

  1. Install Turtl which can extract the icons and class names of your apps.
  2. Open Turtl and follow the process to save the new zip file to your phone.
  3. Make an issue titled "Icon Request" and attach the zip file.

I'm going to piggyback off of this issue and ask how exactly the Frost team would like us to make icons. I fiddled around with trying to make my own via Inkscape and got pretty okay results by making bitmaps of existing icons, making them transparent, and tweaking them, but I overall wasn't satisfied with the end result.

Do our submitted icons need to be pixel-perfect or is it just "as long as it's not visible" type of deal? Also the icons for K-9 Mail and Aurora Store need to be updated again, they broke after the last updates of those apps

As long as you're using shapes and creating the icons manually (no tools because they produce substandard results) the icons can look however you want. Generally, I try to match the original icon, but if it's a complicated design you can take creative liberty to simplify the icon.

This, but make sure to use vector (svg, eps) instead of bitmap images.
