What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I use purcforms designer (the latest version available - hosted both - here
and on my webserver.
2. My survey form is in Polish language well I have to add some Polish
characters like ą, ę ż, ć, ł to the form title / question / hint. I am
possible to save the form as XML - in order to use it on Android phone with ODK
Collect - but Polish chars aren't visible - wrong encoding I think.
3. I have tried to change encoding during saving the form in purcform - to
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?> but the program changes it to UTF-8 by
default.
My question is - how it is possible to add special characters in purcforms +
which output format should I choose? Wheather it is possible to view the form
with PL chars but also French or German - generated with purcforms in ODK
Collect - or you can propose some other android based .apk .
I also attach as a file - report form ODK Validate and example form with PL
chars.
Regards,
Marcin
I have tried to find this in XForms specification but there is lack of
information about it.
I also attach report from ODK Validate:
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Lack of
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
