Creatures speed wearing off. #104

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(please provide as much detail as possible)
1. any creature with speed below level 10
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Supposedly when a creature is level 10 every now and then it's speed would wear
off, but every level before that it still be constant. In the savegame I
provided for issue 103 I had imps slow down whilst on their way to the treasure
room.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
(you can see your KeeperFX version by viewing keeperfx.log in notepad)
windows 8 ver 0.41.0.0696

Please provide any additional information below.

Some spells have only 8 levels, so they don't improve in last two creature
levels.

I don't think this should be fixed, this is just how the game is made. There
are only 8 levels of overcharge when you cast keeper spells, so creature spells
which have corresponding keeper spell are also bound to 8 levels.

No I'm not talking about Keeper cast. I'm talking about creature spell Speed.
Ever since the dawn of DK in 1997 a creature with speed, once self-casted would
last "permanently" until they were level 10. but in this instance it was
wearing off almost every few seconds. It seems to have repaired itself within a
Nightly build since so there's no need to worry about it.

Right, the original bug is repaired (the spell doesn't improve in last 2
levels, but it's working properly).
