Tap device instead of tun? #2

Have you thought about using tap instead of tun? This way you can bond the tap devices without requiring to patch the kernel.

Sorry for the long wait for a reply :). I don't think that will work. It will break all the source routing stuff that makes it function. A tap device is a bridge.
