Hum - did you see the discussion on the py4science mailing list on this?

I personally agree, I think 'Python Work Party' sounds like an anemic compromise, but maybe you should press your case on the mailing list?

Ah apologies - I am not on the py4science mailing list. I was told casually to submit a pull request. Will join the mailing list
