Hey @nesquena and @timothy1ee

Here is the tip calculator app for codepath's application. I've spent the last three weeks learning Objective-C so I decided to take a bite longer on the app and add some more functionality. I'll document here.

Added background images to both tip and settings view controllers.
Added bill splitting functionality via a slider

1

Added functionality to base tip of Pre-Tax amount.
This required having the user add the tax rate in order to get a total.

2

Added defaults for pre-tax vs post-tax and the tax rate

3

Added launchimages

4

Added app icon

5

Integrated Tapjoy's Ad Serving network. Because I work at Tapjoy and it was a ##### good exercise in understanding what customers need to go through to use our ##### product.
Plus I've made $0.50 cents just testing my own app!

Also decided to go through the process of submitting to the app store. This was a really good exercise in learning the what needs to happen end to end. Ran into a bunch of trouble with provisioning profiles and bundle Id's. Not sure I totally get it, but I did get it submitted.

Anyways, thats my app. Hopefully this gets me closer to being accepted.

Impressive! Thanks for the submission! Hopefully, this gave you a sense for the basic iOS development process.

The next step is to schedule a 15 minute phone interview here: https://www.google.com/calendar/selfsched?sstoken=UVBDTi1jVkx4SldqfGRlZmF1bHR8MGVhNTlkZDFmYzQzODdkNDFhZjQ0NWQyZjFiMDU3Nzg. Let me know if none of those slots work.

When you choose a slot, can you edit the event with your phone number? Look forward to chatting!

Great thanks Tim. I just signed up for a spot tomorrow.

Also I'm going to take this two day IOS class this weekend. Hopefully that will get me a bit of a jumpstart and more of a shot getting into your program. http://www.iosweekend.com/
