remove make as a way of building an update DUB dependencies #95

Closed ghost closed 6 years ago

Make in general thing more simple to maintain, since this project is dead.

I ask you to take a look, Leandro, since you added the makd way of building (it was not working anymore BTW).

ghost commented 6 years ago

Sorry, it was @nemanja-boric-sociomantic who added this.

nemanja-boric-sociomantic commented 6 years ago

I would be in favour of leaving makd to build and deploy the packages, but use dub to build the binaries, if that's possible. I don't think we should support several ways to build this project, I agree with that.

leandro-lucarella-sociomantic commented 6 years ago

That should be definitely an option. We do that with dmd1

Okay then, i'll just convert the README, (restructured text is not supported by code.dlang.org), remove the html rendred from it (of no utility), and remove the changelog (it's not maintained).

Yeah, we are also moving to MD for all projects, rst didn't prove to be that useful and there are also a few other places in GH where only MD is accepted (like releases).
