This code is untested as I manually applied it to master, but did test a similar edit on my own machine. So please confirm works before merging.

Hi @code-tree , thanks for the PR and apologies for the delay. I just pushed a new update and it should fix this issue. I did it in a similar way but leveraging some other work I was doing for renewals.
