ability to get gmail message URL #17

One really useful feature that is semi-related would be the ability to get the Gmail URL for the message. That could be used to save a link to the message in to do lists and others (since Thunderbird itself doesn't support URLs yet - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77195). Thanks!

Does gmail have a published URL scheme for linking messages? From searching, I am only seeing what people have reverse engineered and figured out.
