The Cauldron #10

Any plans for supporting it[1](even without percentages)?

The only issue is that there'll be no difficulty prediction for games involving these heroes since there are no stats gathered for them. Thoughts?

The difficulty prediction is nice, but not a required feature IMO (I use it more like a Dominion shuffler and the percentages as guidelines to reroll if the group wants).

Having an "Unknown Win Rate" selection in the Randomize menu would be fine (with a link to the stat tracking page to help gather feedback).

My worry is that most people wouldn't understand what's going on. They might select a 85% win rate, get a random set of cards where their point value is unknown, get stomped then get angry with the app.

I suppose for unofficial cards I could just put "???" in the difficulty rater. And then not have those cards show up if you specify a difficulty... but then people might not know why Cauldren cards aren't showing up when selecting a particular difficulty.

It's a UX problem I'm tackling, essentially, and I'm not a UX person. :)

I'd be OK with a dialog box which pops up when enabling Cauldron cards in the selector menu notifying the user of the uncertainties involved (that selecting a win rate will not consider unranked decks and selecting an unranked deck disables win rate calculations).

This would also allow adding new expansion decks when they're released rather than waiting for data to come in.

I'll have to sit and think about this one a bit. Probably won't happen in the next version of the app (I think #9 is more pressing, plus I want to add Crashlytics soon just in case). But I'll have it on my mind.

Sounds good to me. I don't personally have The Cauldron printed out yet, but it's on the list :) .
