[ ] Filter by artifact type -> Artifact -> Browser back button = broken UI
[x] makehistory() is being called 2x on artifact view load
[ ] clicking https://alexandria.io/browser/FTHGRx and trying to go back on mobile and I'm stuck

Select media type in full list and then hit "Back" doesn't clear the selected icon properly

i think this may be related, but some users are complaining that the "back" button doesn't work (it always loads the same page) which is reminiscent of a pop-up ad

is this the same bug or should i open a new issue?

reported by a user on Android 7.0 (chrome browser) and Windows 10 (firefox)

This is probably the same issue. I need more specific details on when/how the "back" button is functioning strangely, in order to be more certain that it's the same problem.
