I done this: HTML5 doctype, Slightly different fixed width, Style for printing: page breaks before section, no brakes inside subsection, removed background, TOC styling, Width 100% for mobile, no horizontal scroll, more compact TOC, Word-wrap for pre - it still copy-pastes as solid line, Paddings and margins for more flat looking.
