Is it possible to make the editor work on iOS or Android, with touch events. I see that the Ace editor has a ipad branch, but dont know how stable it is?

I'm looking to do something similar to escrito for another project, but it's fully targeting at tablets and hence would be great to reuse some of this functionality

I can't test this on iOS or Android for now, so I don't think I can implement this soon :\ It also seems Ace's iOS compatibility is still poor (even the ipad branch): https://github.com/ajaxorg/ace/issues/37
