We initially moved to Scons because the KDE project was doing it, now
they've given up and gone on to CMake: http://dot.kde.org/1172083974/ and
http://www.cmake.org/

Is CMake any better than Scons for us? Does CMake lack features we need?
Compilers do some really weird things!
