scons clean does not delete src\compiler98\*.o #124

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. scons clean
2. Observe that src\compiler98\*.o still exists

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would have expected scons clean to delete the .obj files - it deletes the
.hi files
