10 years ago Regarding pistons, they're temporary. Eventually you'll have to use hydraulics to actually generate enough force to break the ore.

Maybe instead of having power (technically the pistons don't use/need it) there could be tiers and durability to the blocks that are used in crushing. The iron block can crush 'x'; and a diamond crushing block could crush '4x' or something. This may not be possible as the moving blocks would have to store some kind of data...
