Show Intermediate Informational Screen before running Programs #39

First I apologize if this is the wrong spot. But a feature I would like to
request is the ability to view an image after selecting an icon, and before
that program actually starts.

The use would be to allow users to create "Instruction Card" images for
programs that have unusual or difficult to remember controls.

Ideally if an image is specified, the user would select the item in the UI,
the specified image would come up, and wait for a keypress. Once a key is
pressed, the image closes and the program runs like normal. If no image is
specified, the program launches like normal.

Do you believe that 320x240 would be a large enough area to give this
information.
Or do you feel that it might require multiple screens or the ability to scroll
the
informational image?

I think 320x240 would be sufficient for the majority of cases. I did a quick
mock-up
of a RAW engine screen you can see here: http://eminent.omgbbq.com/misc/raw.png

The ability to have multiple images could be a nice addition to allow you more
space
if needed. Options are great to have, especially if they don't have to be
used. But
that image should be plenty readable, and you could even utilize smaller text
like
the setup screen for Mame4All does.

And really, info like the D-pad and B button aren't all that necessary either
and
could be removed for additional real estate, but it would be nice if you haven't
picked it up in a while to not accidentally over-write your save state, because
you
forgot which button combo you meant to press.
