When trying to pip install epitran from the Windows 10 command line I got an incomprehensible long error message. So I downloaded epitran from git and moved it into my local imports-folder. When running ìmport epitran the error message was more comprehensible: I had to pip install marisa-trie. After doing that, the import worked normally. Thought I'd leave this here, in case someone in the future bumps into this problem and wonders how to solve it.
