local run won't load #11

Hi

finally getting back to this! I am trying to run locally and get this error on startup: ERROR: Couldn't normalize path in addResourcePath, with arguments: prefix = 'shinyStore'; directoryPath = ''

any suggestions?

hi - still have this same issue with local running, and appear to have established this is not an admi rights issue. Any thoughts on this?

Hi Mark,

We now have a package dependency management system in place (packrat) to iron out potential conflicts in package versions between local machines. It guarantees that local users run the app under the intended versions of the packages.

Think this might solve this issue as I suspect it was created by a conflict between packages.

The only downside is that setting up the local version is now a bit more cumbersome! Please check the readme.md file for instructions.

this all seems to be working locally now - good news! Although see my other post - I think the gannet flight height data are wrong.
