Adding / Importing KSoap Library causes project to not build #147

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Put any Ksoap version on Desktop
2. Import into Project (adds to lib folder no problems)
3. After import project has red exclamation and will not build.
4. Delete ksoap and project will build.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like my project to build and then be able to import and use KSoap2.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win 7 Ent true 64 bit. Eclipse 3.7.2. targeting android 2.3.3 and up. I've
tried 2.6.5 (first choice) then 3.0.0 Release Candidate 4 then 2.5.4.

Please provide any additional information below.
Updating all items while I wait. I.E. Android SDK from 20.0.0 to 21.0.1 etc.

I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that I was using the "with dependencies" version
in all cases.

I've just tried downloading several different version and doing anMD5 verify on
them and none match. I am using Chrome. I'm going to try IE next.

Have you followed the download instructions on the wiki?

This is resolved. It had to do with the way I was adding the lib in Eclipse.

This issue can now be closed. I didn't reference said wiki instructions but
it WAS my error in how I was adding the lib to my project in Eclipse.
