Allowing to force a resolution in the config could be interesting. I imagine that the auto
quality issue isn't something that's being caused directly by iSponsorBlockTV, but rather YouTube trying to save bandwidth
That sounds likely. It seems YouTube even changes the quality sometimes even when you have a specific video resolution selected.
A forced resolution in the config would be a great feature! If that was added I'd set it to always force the highest resolution supported for each video.
When iSponsorBlockTV is running the video quality setting sometimes gets set to "auto" and starts playing at the low resolution settings.
To Reproduce Happens every other day or so while using normally. Video quality setting will be set to Auto and choose the lowest quality. (Often 480p)
Expected behavior It should keep whatever video quality setting the TV already uses. However an additional option in the config to always choose the highest available quality setting would be a good fix. (And generally a great quality of life feature)
