On a CMS only file (e.g. T2_FR_GRIF_LLR) dpmdump.py runs faster but, when a site has a much wider namespace (for example sites having mani small files from some other vos) the load on the database can get to the point that the scripts takes hours to run (and often crashes). In these cases dpmdump_v2.py works much better. We currently use dpmdump_v2.py at T2_FR_GRIF_IRFU.
