1. I created a calendar clicking the new icon.
2. I gave it a Name, filled the Calendar ID, filled the Magic Cookie, choosed a
Color
and saved.
3. Went to the google calendar tab and added some events in the calendar
4. Went to the tools tab and clicked System Check and got:
Google Connection Check Curl could sucessfully retrieve remote content from
www.google.com.
PHP Version Check Your PHP version is 5.2.6. This is enough to run imports and all
other tasks.
GCalendar View Cache Dir Check The directory
/var/www/localhost/htdocs/miri/administrator/cache/com_gcalendar which is used
by the
GCalendar view as cache directory is writable, this means you can enable
caching in
the GCalendar view.
Croatian Holidays Miri Check Simplepie could read the events without any problems
from calendar Croatian Holidays Miri.
5. In the web page of joomla client side I can see the calendar but is empty

I have removed and recreated the menu item. When creating the menu entry I can
choose
between creating a gcalendar tyope or a google type calendar. So I created both
and
you can see them in the main menu as "gcalendar test" and "google calendar
test".
I didn't know that you need to click on the arrow above the calendar to show
your
calendar events.
Anyhow in the "google test" calendar, clicking the arrow, shows the caledar
"Croatian
Holidays Miri" (the only calendar I created) and when I select it the events
shows up.
I go then to the gcalendar menu and click the arrow but there is no calendar
shown.
you can use the miri.croatianholidays.eu URL

SOLVED
The issue was that when you crate the menu entry and you actually have to click
on
the "select calendar" option and choose the only calendar listed there.
When creating the calendar in the options menu it looks like the calendar is
already
the one in use but in fact has to be clicked and highlighted.
Perhaps this issue is not a problem when you create multiple calendars

Hi,
This looks like something to be changed in future, because one does not want
each
user te select the calender if there's only one. I am also using a calender on
a
clients site www.sazouk.nl
On this site I do not want users to have to select all calenders, but it has to
show
all calenders events imediately.
Is this something which can be resolved?
