Wad not working on Wii #52

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create wad
2.Install wad using Wad manager
3. Wad doesn't work properly

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I been trying to create a channel for an smsplus emulator. The program
creates and packs the wad. The final outcome is a smaller MB wad and when
installed it doesn't boot to the emulator.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XP sp3 and v.2.31 and Windows 7 V.3.11

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried to reloading the smsplus boot.dol with the comex and Waninkoko
loader but it hasn't worked properly yet. The simple forwarder works but
not a big fan of that and I am unsure of how the complex forwarder works
exactly but willing to learn. This has not worked since I reformatted my
computer. Don't know if I am missing a program to make Customizemii work
properly since the reformatting or what. Ever since then the wads are not
bigger than 1.36 MB and don't load the properly.

There are several apps that "don't like being forwarded to", smsplus is one of
them.
The complex forwarder simply doesn't work for them.

That makes more sense to me now. I am still interested in learning to make
complex
fowarders for other apps. Do I need to just input one forwarding location (SD
or USB)?
Sorry for being a noob.
