Instant Veins Step-by-step

Prerequisites:


Installation:

First of all, install VirtualBox 7: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads VirtualBox is the virtual machine manager.

Download the Instant Veins: https://veins.car2x.org/download/instant-veins-5.2-i1.ova This file is approximately 6GB. Depending on your Internet connection speed, the download may take some time.

After downloading, double-click on the downloaded file (instant-veins-5.2-i1.ova) to start importing the Virtual Machine into VirtualBox.

Click in Finish (this should take a while)

After the process is complete, the VM will appear in your VirtualBox: instant-veins-5.2-i1 Click Settings -> General -> Advanced In Shared Clipboard, check: Bidirectional In Drag'n'Drop, check: Bidirectional

Click OK


Running:

Now, double-click on the instant-veins-5.2-i1 to start the Instant Veins Virtual Machine.
