1 month ago I just start now with a first small comment for explain my idees as a brainstorming : Remarq : i think the term SEO Audit is maybe better then SEO page scan.
I see 3 kind of audits :
- On page audit ( meta title length, h1, h2, alt for images, meta index, meta description, link href status code check, page speed, w3c valid, existe in sitemap, hidden by robots.txt, target keywords presence, ...)
- Cross pages audit (duplicate page title, multiple url for same page)
- External audit : position ranking in search engine, visit statistics, incomming links
Remark : page audit need to be done for dnn pages and pages managed by modules like articles detail pages
I see also 3 ways to implement it :
- database queries (like Tycho sujest)
- html page source analysis
- external tools with api (or just links to)
About UI/UX :
- UI for one page audit information (that shows list of informations, warnings, problems)
- UI with dashboard witch sumarize informations, warnings, problems, ....
- UI for selecting witch audits/checks/scans need to be done
- shortcuts to edit page settings or page content to apply corrections
- nice to have is history information and comparason with past audits
Next actions :
- prioritize
- define target users of this functionality (all users, page admins, site admins, host users, ...)
Remark : to be independent of the dnn core timeline, its maybe better to start as a module or personabar extension

Description of problem
During DNNConnect 2024 @sachatrauwaen opted for a SEO page scan in DNN. As this got a lot of votes, it was decided to bring this to life.
Description of solution
As a starting point, I refer to the contents of https://dnncommunity.org/blogs/Post/9332 In order to make things more visible, I created some mockups for the persona bar As we want to be flexible, I used a dropdown which is similar to the solution for editing config files
