"URL Hijacking" breaks ihnf's scripts embedding feature only with backlinks #61

The embed feature works fine with 4cs in its original post, but as soon as its quoted with quote highlighting or quote inlining apparently the compatability breaks. What's up with that?

And it has a weird behavior where quote highlighting/inlining works with youtube links (at times) but adds an extra "[Embed]" after it that does nothing, and with strawpoll/vocaroo/soundcloud/anything else it just breaks.

Back when 4cs was started, it had included the ability to linkify posts with plaintext urls. It still contains this, but nearly every 4chan extension can do this on its own now. It's best to disable 4cs' linkification or 4chanx/inline linkification.

A lot of these issues come from site changes and other userscript changes which I never fully kept up with. Eventually I'll probably put the video preview pop-up thing into a separate extension anyways.

It's not a big enough deal to switch useful things off, I was just reporting it in case and wondering why it only broke when quoted but not in its original post is all.
