Fix JSDoc types for split text

Cleanup following latest PR -

• Move code to src folder
• Fix types for split text
• Apply JSDoc only to src folder
• move dom access to index.js
• Remove unused imports
• Remove dist from .gitignore and rebuild dist

Yes that was on purpose to allow for downloading the bundled files but the GitHub Action for updating was still missing.

Cool, so in this pr I removed the dist folder from git ignore.
