I see the firmwares at /var/firmware on the iOS var partition. Is that
partition visible to Android?

Bump. 2G experiencing same behavior. 3.1.3 Blackrain. Renamed existing
/var/firmware folder, allowed bootlace to recreate folder by downloading
firmware from idroid page in the application. Cleared user info. Same as
before.

Note1: Previous failed iboot/idroid install (iphodroid?) via osx guest in
windows 7 host. I assumed the USB virtualization handoff caused the failure.

Note2: bootlace was installed (at least one major revision ago) in attempt to
fix note1
