NO DATA CONNECTION OVER NETWORK #40

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.boot into froyo
2.booted successfully 
3.NO DATA CONNECTION

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect Data connection but only get calls.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPhoDroid r12b on iPhone 3G jailbroken on iOS 4 with latest redsnow.

Please provide any additional information below.
I am also on AT&T and I have already configured the APN settings in the 
settings menu but I still don't get a data connection. Is data over a network 
connection not supported yet? I have also rebooted the phone various times to 
see if that would solve the problem but it doesn't seem to do it.

im running tmobile and it picks up service and data within seconds of start up, 
i dont know if its just att thing.

I am having the exact same issue with same build as above. I believe TMobile 
works because they are 2G Youngrid.... I believe this maybe a 3G issue... 
Arielh try forcing your iphone in to 2G only and see if that works... my 
carrier in Canada only has 3G so I am unable to get if it works over 
edge/gprs... which i believe youngrid... is using..

I entered the APN settings and turned "ON" data while roaming.. but no go.. 
still getting no data.. i have attempted to reboot several times as well.. my 
guess it is  a bug???

i had to turn the data on but other then that i the data turns on, i dont know 
if unsing edge but it doesnt show edge the data just turns out. i tried it on 
edge and it works and i also tried with 2g and 3g it should work.

I also tried turning on the setting for 2g network access only but still no 
luck. Probably it is a bug.

iphone 3G, 3.1.2
Install went well no issues
Confirming no Cellular Data connectivity or MMS/Text using AT&T or T-Mobile SIMs
Configured both with correct APN & MMC settings
Icon for 3G network appears with AT&T SIM; used 2G setting for T-Mobile SIM
Also getting error when searching networks/auto config...
Booting back into iOS everything works again with both SIMs
Any help would be good...

Well I get nothing. I dont get 3G sign or Edge sign

I can confirm that I am unable to recv' sms/mms and unable to scan for networks 
as well....

Hi Sergio,
First well done for all the job done. I have also the same error: no data 
network meanwhile I've added the APN and having the 3G sign, I can make calls 
but cannot receive call. The caller is receiving ring tones but the call is not 
coming on Android. Not able to scan for networks.

I have not tested yet the sms but will test it soon.

Sergio great build with R12c. I cannot get a data network connection. I am able 
to connect to Wifi but when not on Wifi I cannot connect to the internet. I can 
make a call so I know I have voice capability. Hope you can get this worked 
out. Thanks!

*this is a followup to RCBRASWELL....

I have updated my APN to AT&Ts settings.  I see a "G" data icon (not 3g, just 
G).  Have experienced signal bar issues, not sure if i have the correct APN 
settings, is it possible for you or someone to post the official AT&T APN?
