Description

When attempting to login to Chaturbate to follow or view followed there is an error.

The problem is caused by Cloudflare protection, it probably works with Flaresolverr.

I've never had this issue or enabled Flaresolverr in the past this just presented itself after the last update.

Is there an easy resolution for this. I can't really setup a Flaresolverr on a fire stick.

In version 1.1.109, it will be possible to authenticate by adding a sessionid cookie in the settings (Settings - Advanced - Chaturbate Authentication Cookie).

The sessionid cookie can be obtained from a browser.

sessionid did not fix the issue for me.

I checked on two different browsers and received a different sessionid on each for chaturbate.com.

How is this supposed to work on a firetv device?

Anyone know of an easy way to obtain the session id on Amazon Silk or a mobile device iOS/android?

I'm not aware of any easy way to read the sessionid cookie on mobile devices, but it doesn't have to be read from the device running Kodi. It can also be read from other computers.

Here is the easiest way to get your sessionid.

Download and install - Firefox Nightly

Download and install - Cookie-Editor

Login to the website -> Three dots bottom right corner -> Extensions -> Cookie-Editor -> Scroll to the bottom.

Firefox and the Cookie Editor aren't available from the Play Store with a lot of android TV devices. Guess they can be sideloaded. Using the kodi remote app should let you copy/paste the sessionID.

Is the CB login supposed to trigger Flaresolverr? It's not for me.

Another idea: copy the sessionid from a PC, dump to a file then import it through the addon settings?

No but you can use it on your phone and get the sessionid and then use that in the settings and it works perfectly.

Or since it seems that the sessionid is good for a month, can always type it out. I just figured if it's a Cloudflare check and other sections of cumination have flaresolverr support, could that be done for the login. Maybe it's more difficult and that's totally fine. I can just copy the sessionid then paste it in a kodi remote app!

Can there be a way to input site login credentials for CB using Kodi on firestick? If there already is a way, please elaborate.
