Long strings in sidebar_data break flow #16

Our solution had an unintended side-effect: Dropdowns inside of the sidebar no longer work. Take this one, for example:

With the overflow:hidden;, all of the overlapping content will be hidden.

So... back to the drawing board? I'm going to revert https://github.com/dobtco/dvl-core/commit/f820d9fc7128306a49f9826f70fbde59d5f3f9da for the time being.
