@jrubenoff: I've started this in the better-checkboxes-radios branch. I've altered the markup in the preview app to have a span sibling for each checkbox or radio, so you should have everything you need to tweak our styles. Once you're done, I'll tweak our simple_form config so we can get this into Rails.
