game images not displaying #146

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load XBMC, RCB

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see scraped images (which were downloaded sucesfully, and are in the
correct folders)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.0.6, Windows 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
When loading RCB 90% of the roms have no images despite the images being
available, and the nfo files pointing to them. Leaving RCB and going back in
again will then display images for some other that were not previously
displaying, and break ones that were working before hand. Infact this covers
the game plots and other text as well, though interestingly the game name
appears to remain correct. Tried with fresh installation and two different sets
of roms.

I am also seeing the same issue 2.0.6, Windows 7 x64. I started seeing the
problem when my rom collection went over 6 mame roms. No information displays
at all... pictures, title name, etc.

Found out that this issue only seems to occur when xbmc is not full screen.

I have the same problem. I have a mix of NES, SNES, GEN, and N64 games
totaling around 70 and growing. After initial scraping the internet for
artwork, the folders are created and correctly populated. Only 2-3 games at a
time will show artwork. When I use "c" on a different game and request that it
rescrape the current selection, RCB will then display the artwork for that game
and maybe two others. Never showing more than three.

This issue was also reported in the XBMC forum thread but I never was able to
reproduce it. What skin are you using? What views?
