ROM import hangs on "Building file list"

Hello,
New install of XBMC Dharma and ROMCollection 0.8.1 on Mint Julia.

I import a collection of MAME roms. Entering of MAME path and rom paths is ok. 
After pressing "Import games" button window open where I choose MAME games, 
remove scrapper, scrapping mode set to automatic:accurate. Process starts after 
pressing "Import" but it hangs on step "Building file list..."

Progress bar stops, pressing cancel button shows "Cancelling" but the window 
remain open and the only way to get of it is to kill XBMC process.

I have just found the reason - when defining Rom Collection I left file mask 
empty and this caused the issue. When I put *.zip it works well.

Could be a good idea to prevent this.
