Please upload the latest version on PyPI.

Looks like this is needed to include the changes in #53?

I can certainly look into pushing out a new version- including wheels for at least the Raspberry Pi- along with cleaning up the README since the formatting on pypi is still a broken mess.

I would need to grab the latest code from here and check for regressions- it would be famous last words to say "I don't think those thread disable/enable commands will affect anything."

@doceme would you be okay with me doing this? It should probably go hand-in-hand with new python-spidev and python3-spidev packages on Raspberry Pi at least.

me21 commented 6 years ago

And for no_cs. Py-spidev 3.2 which is currently on PyPI doesn't seem to contain no_cs.

doceme commented 6 years ago

@Gadgetoid Yes, that would be great, thanks!

ladyada commented 6 years ago

waitaminute. no_cs doesn't even work on raspi anyhow!? >.< try this test code and look at scope. what the heck? oh well, guess it doesnt matter :D
