Clean install- cant log in. error

Description

Error Kio client The file or folder /opt/docker-desktop/resources/app.asar/build/desktop-ui-build/index.html does not exist.

Reproduce

Install on Kubuntu 22.04.3 following page and subpages instructions in https://docs.docker.com/desktop/install/ubuntu/

Same on Ubuntu 22.04.3 fresh install

Clicking sign up and sign in on that splash screen does nothing. I get no error messages.

I can click skip to get into the dashboard, but then I am just in the app without the ability to sign in.

I even tried signing in using the system tray dropdown, but it is unresponsive.

EDIT= Now I am seeing these alerts:

Bug resolution method is as follows: 1.

npm install -g asar
cd /opt/docker-desktop/resources
mv app.asar app.asar.bak
asar extract app.asar.bak app.asar

follow the instructions in the documentation

gpg --generate-key
pass init <your_generated_gpg-id_public_key>
docker login
