kitty terminal - can't enter password. #295

Using kitty terminal on Ubuntu, I can't proceed past:

pass insert docker-credential-helpers/docker-pass-initialized-check
mkdir: created directory '/home/kroy/.password-store/docker-credential-helpers'
Enter password for docker-credential-helpers/docker-pass-initialized-check:

Nothing but CTRL-C works at this prompt. In gnome-terminal, program ran as expected

this might have just been a case of a broken tab
