Docker for Mac starts up IDE for Harvard's CS50 but can't access URL in browser

The latest build (details below) is pulled and used.

REPOSITORY TAG IMAGE ID CREATED SIZE cs50/ide latest 8591528f8da3 6 days ago 5.78GB

No issues in starting container.

CONTAINER ID IMAGE COMMAND CREATED STATUS PORTS NAMES 0d85d55b63e7 cs50/ide "/docker-entrypoint.…" 41 minutes ago Up About a minute 0.0.0.0:5050->5050/tcp, 22/tcp, 0.0.0.0:8080-8082->8080-8082/tcp ide50

But when tried accessing using thr URL, http://localhost:5050/ then getting

This page isn’t working localhost didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Alternatively tried with http://127.0.0.1:5050/ and http://0.0.0.0:5050/

Also referred issue 2760 (https://github.com/docker/for-mac/issues/2760) and tried restarting multiple times. Restarted Mac and also Docker in all combinations. Issue still persists.

Please revert for more information. Could you please help in sorting?

Issues go stale after 90 days of inactivity. Mark the issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale comment. Stale issues will be closed after an additional 30 days of inactivity.
