Description

Updating Docker Desktop for Mac from 4.30 to 4.34 results in infinite “installing” status.

Reproduce

  1. Have Docker Desktop 4.30.0 (149282)
  2. Update to 4.34.2 (167172)
  3. After downloading update, installation starts and never completes

Expected behavior

No response

Having similar issue but after "update and restart" the current version is still the same:

Ready to be installed. Restart to update.

New version: 4.34.3 (170107)
