Description

After the upgrade to Docker Desktop 4.35.0, the CPU usage in the Activity monitor remains stuck on around 120%.

Image

Image

There are two running very heavy container that according to the stats only use about 5% of the CPU and even when stopping the two container the Docker Desktop CPU usage does not decrease.

It does reming me a problem with SBOM indexing that I had about a year ago but it is not activated: Image

Basically the machine is almost stuck after the upgrade and the fans run full power and I mist likely can only reinstall an older version of Docker Desktop.

Reproduce

In my environment, I simply upgraded to Docker Desktop 4.35.0 without any change to my images and the CPU usage is stuck at 120%. Even after stopping the container the CPU usage does not change.

Expected behavior

Completely removing Docker Desktop and reinstalling it seems to (at least for now) resolve the issue

doberkofler commented 3 weeks ago

It seems to have been related to the upgraded and it is unlikely to be understood
