Docker Desktop WSL2 doesn't start

Actual behavior

The first time after installing Docker Desktop with WSL2 on my Windows 10 Pro (latest Update) machine the Docker Desktop starts up and works as expected. After the first system reboot i start the Docker Desktop and it doesn't start anymore. It says "Docker Engine starting" the whole time. As well the settings aren't loading.

Expected behavior

Startup normally and start docker engine.

  1. Install Docker Desktop with WSL2
  2. Start Docker Desktop and work with it
  3. reboot system
  4. Start Docker Desktop

Issues go stale after 90 days of inactivity. Mark the issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale comment. Stale issues will be closed after an additional 30 days of inactivity.
