Would really like some way to disable this, since it also seems to endlessly create zombie processes (of both docker, conhost, and cmd) that eat up RAM over time.
Just an update, turns out the zombie processes (at least in my case) are due to faulty AMD drivers. See here: https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/memory-leak-on-zen4/td-p/662281
So basically Docker Desktop keeps running processes in short intervals (which might not be ideal), but it's not DD's fault that they leave a zombie process afterwards.
Description
Whenever there are containers running in Docker Desktop, the docker stats --all --no-trunc --no-stream --format "{{ json .}}" command is triggered every few seconds, causing unnecessary CPU load.
Reproduce
Open Docker Desktop Start any container Observe new processes being created and terminated in Task Manager/Process Explorer
Expected behavior
No wasted CPU time if stats not needed. A way to disable docker stats for Docker Desktop.
