Description

Docker version 27.2.0, build 3ab4256 Docker Compose version v2.29.2-desktop.2 Docker Desktop 4.34.3 (170107)

This is the docker compose file.

error:

Error response from daemon: Ports are not available: exposing port TCP 0.0.0.0:8000 -> 0.0.0.0:0: listen tcp 0.0.0.0:8000: bind: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.

there is nothing running on port 8000. I have tried with different ports. the result is same.

Hi @virajpvs, thanks for reporting. Unfortunately I can't reproduce on my side.

Could you follow the instructions here to upload a diag, and then paste the diag ID here please? https://docs.docker.com/desktop/troubleshoot/#diagnose-from-the-app

I'd need to take a look at your logs, but the diag ID you provided is invalid.

Also, could you expand on how you verified that this port isn't in used on your host?
