Docker Desktop - Unexpected WSL error

Description

docker engine isn't starting.

Reproduce

just opening the app causes this.

Expected behavior

just open the app.

I have the same issue with Docker Desktop 4.36.0 WSL version: 2.3.26.0 Kernel version: 5.15.167.4-1

Hi, and thanks for reporting the issue.

@aka-0x4C3DD , from the diagnostics you provided (3AFF424A-FBA5-4C79-B470-7FF712CC3A85/20241128114734) I see that you are running an old version of WSL. This is was also discussed in this issue: please see the resultion suggested in the comment and let us know how that goes.

@bogedal , sorry you'r also having issues running Docker Desktop.

From your comment I understand you are running the latest WSL version, that should not soffer from the problem described by this issue.

If you'd kindly generate and upload your diagnostics we can triage your problem, hopefully help you towards a resultion and decide whether we should track it under a different issue or not.
