unauthorized: incorrect username or password when using correct ID and password #2120

Problem description

no matter what it's impossible to login in CLI. I am using correct ID (not the e-mail, ID - omniov2 and then omniovv) and correct password (works both on web and in docker gui). I'm always getting:

Error response from daemon: Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: unauthorized: incorrect username or password

I even tried token way. I created token, copy / pasted login line from token popup, pasted token when prompted. still the same.

few reinstalls of docker and now those same credentials works. strange. but I guess it's closed, then.
