Unable to add another email address under settings #2124

Unable to add another email address under Profile -> Settings:

click settings typed in an alternative email address in the New Email Field. Received Invalid Password Error Made sure it's the right password by signing in and out.

Verified that the email address was correct and valid, even tried other emails, some that I recently created, even on a different email service. Reloaded Site and still experienced same issue. Tried different browsers, in private mode.

No luck.
