After renaming container #2551

Expected behavior

restart with ne name possible

Actual behavior

error message reporting a conflict, but there is no container in use

Information about the Issue

(HTTP code 409) unexpected - Conflict. The container name "/agitated_wilson" is already in use by container f6a6fb81d890d8403c07c5034fb63c680e4ba6002f83b22a282b2ecb829fed54. You have to remove (or rename) that container to be able to reuse that name.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. rename container
  2. start container
  3. check if container with old name is running

Can you provide the output of: docker ps -a Kitematic doesn't use the above name convention you specified

@mauermbq Can you provide explicit step by step on how this was done- I'm unable to replicate the issue
