Error pulling docker image in Linux Containers mode #3518

Expected behavior

get Hello-world image after clicking on "Create" button in Hello-Wolrd card in the Kitematic window.

Actual behavior

Getting : (HTTP code 500) server error - {"message":"Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)"}

Information about the Issue

I can pull the image after switching to " Windows containers" but i can't with linux. No linux image can be pulled.

same issue. Kitematic worked until a few days ago. something must of changed. on Mac os X. Docker pull works as expected.

We have this Issue on Windows 10.

But Docker reacts the same way : no way to obtain any image in 'Linux Containers" mode
