Also out of curiosity do you have a snapshot of your activity monitor showing Kitematic as the culprit of this bottleneck (slowness)?
Can you upload your ~/.docker/machine/machines/default/default/Logs/VBox.log so that we can check the I/O operations and perhaps detect why it seems so slow for you?

9 years ago @fusengine I would like to determine the cause of the error you're getting. It does however seem to be less prone to errors on 5.0.3. What error do you get when running it on 5.0.2?

9 years ago I am getting the same error on Virtualbox 5.0.2, Extensions installed, OS X 10.10.5, Kitematic installed along with the Docker Toolbox.
I just removed Virtualbox, Docker and Kitematic via the reset script and will report back if there are still errors.

ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/Users/<redacted>/.docker/machine/machines/default/ca.pem'Did you see similar?

9 years ago @fusengine boot2docker is deprecated. Despite some bugs, you should still move to docker-machine.
@FrenchBen I have resolved the issue. Here are the steps I used for OS X10.10.5 and VirtualBox 5.0.3 test release:
After these steps I was able to launch Kitematic and login to the Docker Hub, and verified that I was able to pull and run an image from the registry.

9 years ago I do not play my origin bug but i have the same problem that @damienstanton. I followed the steps to reinstall DockerTool and VirtualBox 5.0.3. But this do not resolved the problem
